Dudley S. Blossom was a wealthy Cleveland, Ohio, businessman and philanthropist who served as city welfare director, 1919-1921 and 1924-1932. He graduated from Yale University in 1901 and became a partner in the Cleveland firm of William Bingham and Company. Cleveland, Ohio investment broker and civic leader who served as Welfare Director for the city of Cleveland and president of the Cleveland Boys' Bureau, an organization which assisted homeless youth during the depression of the 1930s.
